East Prawle Yoga is a mixed class for people who have all sort of experiences of Yoga. The practice includes fundamentals of Yogic breathing, warming up exercises, Yoga poses (Asanas), Dynamic Poses (Sun Salutations), Relaxation and Meditation. You will need to get on and off the Yoga mat independently.
I recommend you bring your own Yoga mat, it helps you to settle into your own private space. However if you require one I will need to know in advance of Thursday so I can bring one for you. Wear loose comfortable clothing (layers are a good idea), non slip socks and maybe even bring a blanket and a woolly hat.

Zoom Yoga from Home @ ZOOM Mondays 6.00pm - 7.00pm (Energetic Flow) on special announcement
Start the week to strengthen and lengthen the body to help increase energy and positivity. Use your breath to coordinate your movement and feel alive. We need energy for transport, transformation and communication to help us decide, commit, act and succeed. The session is fast paced, focusing on building strength and endurance and maybe burning some calories. Some experience needed. Please login / arrive no later than 5.50pm ahead of our class start time of 6.00pm. Please note the class will not be activated until the official start time. You will be let in via the waiting room, you may be held there momentarily. Please have the full name you are booked in clearly displayed in the waiting room to avoid disappointment of not being admitted.
How you can help Be early for the class: it's difficult to admit people once we are underway. Give feedback: it's useful to hear what you thought of the class, and also how the audio and video is coming across.
Top tips 1. Be in a safe place with enough space for your arms and legs to move. 2.Have your Yoga mat and anything else you need for the class ready (block, cushion, blanket, belts, water, chair etc) 3. Ensure your device is plugged in and fully charged. 4.Close other apps or turn on airplane mode 5.Make zoom full screen, put your device in the landscape position 6.Mute yourself and alerts on the device and any other devices that are within earshot, including phones to avoid background noise interfering with the session.
One click should take you straight in. Use the meeting ID and password in case of problems. Once you have received the invite you can use the same password and ID for each session. You can join from a web browser but I suggest downloading the free version of the Zoom app (in advance of class) for better video and audio.
Important notice! These classes are designed for people who are fit and healthy (and not pregnant) and ideally have previously practiced some yoga. Listen to your body!! You should not feel strain/ pain in physical poses. If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture and rest. Yoga is about listening to your body and respecting its limits on any given day. Your well-being is your responsibility! By joining the online class, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown which you might incur as a result of participating in the sessions offered by East Prawle Zoom Yoga from Home.
